New York Textile Month

New York Textile Month invites you to launch the locally sourced, designed and woven NYTB Project.

These heirloom pieces are the culmination of a unique collaboration between the founder of NYTM and trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort, along with Pascale Gatzen, co-founder of the worker cooperative ‘friends of light’.

NYTB's are designed by ‘friends of light’, Lori Weitzner studio, Suzanne Tick Studio, Lidewij Edelkoort, Thompson St Studio & Hiroko Takeda Studio. Each uniquely designed blanket is woven by Terry Buck at her workshop in the Hudson Valley. The fine wool is made by Buckwheat Bridge Angoras in Elizaville, NY where the sheep are swaddled with blankets winter long.

Please join the founder, farmer, designer and weavers, and share the opportunity to promote and sustain New York Textile arts.
