Get involved with SQBee! Join us in person or virtually on Teams. In addition to having multiple ways to attend the Bee, we have multiple ways to participate in the quilting!
Team Quilting:
Typically, teams are formed to create quilts made from unwanted textiles and samples from our industry. These teams usually divvy up the work amongst themselves and share their progress during quilting bees. If you have a team or a concept and would like to participate this way, AWESOME! Thanks for keeping our quilting tradition alive! We’re so excited to see what you’ve created. Come to a Bee to share what you’ve been working on; pick out fabrics; or work on your quilt.
Quilt-A-Palooza Style:
A new way to join the SQBee community! Quilts will be created based on a design by a prominent designer from our industry. The work for these quilts will be done during Quilt-a-Palooza sessions / Bees where anyone can lend a hand in any part of the process (cutting, pinning, sewing, pressing). This is a great way to get involved if you don’t have a team, don’t have the time to commit to an entire quilt or want to get your feet wet with the Sustainable Quilt Auction.
